It was reported earlier, that the retail sale of alcohol at the «Rostov-Arena» stadium in the days of the 2018 World Cup was banned by the decree of the Government of the Rostov region.

The FIFA responded as follows: «According to Federal Law No. 2013-FZ of 2013, FIFA is allowed to sell beer on public concession stands of stadiums before and during each match of the 2018 World Cup, as well as during the FIFA Fan Fest events, taking place in all 11 host cities».

The 2018 World Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018, in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg and Saransk.
