Foreign merchants to take part in Real Black Friday in Russia

The Pan-Russian sale known as «The Real Black Friday» at will take place on November 24-26. For the first time ever the event will be supported by the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC) and the Regional Public Center of Internet Technologies (ROCIT). LED agency is the organizer of the event. 
The organizers expect at least 200 companies to participate in the event, including Svyaznoy, Audiomania, Eldorado, Huawei, K-Rauta, Ulmart, Cosmorelax, Amidiateka, Zvooq, Techport, Azimut Hotels, Sela, Hermitage Shop, Online Trade, OBI, Philips, Redmond, Adamas, Bronnitsy Jeweler,, Promokodus and may others. For the first time ever, Russian consumers will have access to a section with special offers from foreign online stores and services. 
«Not all Russians believe in Black Friday, that it can be «real» in Russia», says Leonid Dovladbegyan, Director General, LED agency. «Many people prefer to shop in foreign stores. However, foreign special offers were always neglected for some reason. We decided to meet the needs of consumers and provide offers of the best Russian and foreign stores and services at one site. We expect at least 200 participating companies in total, while in the foreign section we will present offers of at least 50 companies, including discounts for clothing, footwear, electronics, air tickets, hotels and etc. We do not select goods instead of our customers. We do not tell them where to buy. They will decide for themselves». 
According to Dovladbegyan, this innovation will be more than just a convenience for the customers: it will allow them to see the competitive power of offers from Russian stores. At the same time, domestic retailers will be even more interested in making the most fair and relevant offers. In case of any violations, consumers will be able to submit their complaints to ROCIT «Hot Line» that proved its effectiveness during the Cyber Monday. 

«RAEC advocates equal terms for Russian and international retailers and civilized alignment of Russian and foreign participants of the market, so that both consumers and businesses would find themselves comfortable», comments Sergey Plugotarenko, RAEC Director. «We believe such initiatives boost the development of e-commerce in Russia and at the same time improve the loyalty of online stores’ visitors. Both these factors have a positive effect on the development of digital economy in Russia, improve its contribution to the GDP. Our objective is to provide conditions for the sustainable development of companies engaged in the e-commerce sector, and help customers overcome the fear of online purchases, let them understand the advantages of such model of sales». 
Representatives of RAEC also believe that participation in such campaigns may stimulate foreign online stores to invest into development of business in Russia, including the possibility of creating their own infrastructure within the country, and importing goods in the capacity of suppliers.
The Real Black Friday will be a second large Pan-Russian online-event supported by RAEC. In January, the Association extended support to Cyber Monday, also arranged by LED agency. The event will take place on November 24-26 at
