It will become the third brand of Alibaba Group - after AliExpress and Tmall.

AliExpress representatives in Russia note that Low-coster is a discounter offering goods of up to 600 ruble worth. These categories now account for about six of the twenty most popular requests on AliExpress.

The new brand is designed primarily for a young low-income audience, so first it will be launched in the AliExpress mobile application used mostly by the young people of up to 25 years old. Besides, the new channel is aimed at those who have never made purchases there. Lowcoster is supposed to attract new users, especially in cities where population exceeds one million, explained the representative of AliExpress.
