Major European fashion retailers seek to transfer production to other countries.
This was caused by the Russian government's ban on the import of clothing under the label Made in Turkey, RNS informs citing Turkish T24. It is known that these retailers insist on removing references to the country of origin from the labels on the clothes.
It should be noted that the problems in relations between Russia and Turkey arose after the incident in the skies over Syria when a Russian Su-24 that allegedly violated the border with Turkey was shot down.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a special decree on measures to ensure national security and protect citizens from illegal activities, as well as on special economic measures against Turkey.
The document prohibits or restricts some foreign trade transactions, including imports from Turkey, according to the list formed by the Russian government.
