Westgate Resorts Launches the Westgate Rewards MasterCard

Westgate Resorts, the largest privately held developer in the vacation ownership industry is scheduled to launch their new co-brand credit card, the Westgate Rewards MasterCard®, on June 13, 2013. The Westgate Rewards MasterCard® is being launched in cooperation with Alliance Data Systems Corporation, a leading provider of loyalty and marketing solutions derived from transaction-rich data. The new card will provide Westgate Resorts co-brand cardholders with full account service, including online account activation and management, flexible financing options and marketing communications designed to support repeat purchases and engender customer loyalty. Once approved for the Westgate Rewards MasterCard®, new Westgate Resorts owners will have the option to place their timeshare down payment onto their Westgate Rewards MasterCard®, on a 6-month deferred interest promotion payment plan.
Westgate Rewards MasterCard® will include a points-based loyalty program for all card purchases and additional incentives when using the card for Westgate Resorts related transactions, on-property or off-property. Every 2,500 points earned will be redeemable for a $25 rewards certificate, which can be used for discounts on resort amenities, accommodations, maintenance and tax fees, and other special offers. Westgate Rewards MasterCard® holders will receive a special new account bonus of 4,000 points for outside spending totaling $500 or more. There is no annual fee for being a Westgate Rewards MasterCard® holder; credit card applications can be found at the Guest Services desk of all Westgate Resorts properties or by logging onto www.WestgateCreditCard.com.
