US: Product Quality – Most Important When Purchasing Online
Product quality is listed as the most important factor which can influence a purchasing decision, a recent survey points out.
According to a new infographic from e-commerce service provider Bigcommerce, other factors which play a significant role in influencing purchase decisions online include free shipping, easy returns, customer reviews, visual search, ease of navigation and checkout, multiple options, special size and new product.
The same source unveils that competitive pricing also has a critical role. Data shows that 62 percent of customers research online before making a big-ticket purchase and 90 percent of customers of tech products watch videos about the items they are considering buying.
Research indicates that 76 percent of smartphone owners are already using their devices for shopping-related activities and 81 percent of them have declared that posts from their friends directly influence their purchase decisions.
