Despite the economic situation in Russia, the H&M and Balmain collections were sold out within hours.

Sales of the joint collection of the Swedish retailer H & M and the French brand Balmain started on Thursday in Moscow. The first one represents mass market and the second one is a luxury brand. The collection was presented for sale in three shopping centers in Moscow: Afimall City, Aviapark and Metropolis at 9 a.m., and at 12 a.m. the sales began in the H & M online store.

"By the beginning of the sales no less than 500 people had come to the H & M store”, - says Julia Mosolova, Aviapark representative. She said that on the eve of the start of sales some buyers had spent the night in the shopping center, near the OBI convenience store.

The collection was completely sold out by the afternoon, Julia Mosolova notes, referring to the information from their shopping center. According to the customers’ feedback in social networks, not a thing from this collection left in other shopping centers after a few hours. The collection in online store was also sold out in full.
