Russian Customers Pay Less Attention to Brands
According to some analytics, the customers now control the average receipt amount; their overall consumption is stable and reasonable. Consumption behavior of Russians became more rational: since 2009 the number of respondents who say that they look at a price first when they buy essential products keeps growing by 2-4% every year.
At the same time the number of customers who put brands first constantly goes down.
