Qiwi to offer pick-up of parcels ordered in online stores

The company plans to launch a new Qiwi terminals network for receiving parcels, while Box2Box, Qiwi investment division, is preparing to launch a service for issuing online orders. According to the company representatives, about $1 million has been invested in the development of the new projects and this is not the limit for investors.
The parcels pick-up facilities will be available in stores, mobile shops and other places where Qiwi payment terminals are installed. By the end of this September, Box2Box had 520 locations for parcels pick-up in fourteen regions of the country, and this number should increase to 3,200 by the end of 2016.
Currently, the company in cooperation with PickPoint is testing the possibility of creation of a network of post terminals, with 40 of them to be installed and operating in the test mode by the end of the year, to increase their number to 1000 by the end of 2016.
