MTS mobile operator and QIWI Post network signed a cooperation agreement to integrate QIWI Post terminals in the MNO shops, media reported
One of these devices was installed in one of the MTS shops in Moscow. The parties intend to increase their number to 18 by the end of this year. Besides Moscow, the post terminals will be installed in the MTS shops located in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk and Orel.
The agreement provides for a per parcel fee to be received by MTS from its new partner.
According to experts, the cooperation with QIWI Post should increase the customer inflow to the retailer's shops by 3-5%, and extend the possibility of issuing orders made through their own online store.
For QIWI this partnership is beneficial because it may quickly expand its terminals network for delivery of goods from over 200 partner retailers. Currently the network includes 380 locations in 21 regions, while the MTS network includes 4.4 thousand shops nationwide.
