JD.ru launches its brand-name customer support service in Russia

JD will provide customer support in Russia, in cooperation with IRP and CPS Technical Center, local companies specializing in electronic equipment repairThe launch of the network of service centers is in line with the company's after-sale customer support policy and allows the customers to receive quality service as regards their online purchases from abroad.
The first repair centers will be opened in Moscow, but the company plans include their expansion on a global scale.
According to JD.com President Victor Xu, the company is energetically developing partnerships with key operators around the world to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of service and support for the end user. The launch of the service centers will allow JD.com to ensure prompt technical support for Russian consumers as far as repair of equipment is concerned.
Nikko Chen, Senior Global Supply Chain Director at JD.com, also expressed his confidence that this cooperation would improve the quality of JD.ru customer service for Russian consumers.
"Improving the customer service level is a key goal of JD.com. In terms of the company development, Russia is among the promising overseas markets, so we are pleased to expand our own logistics services in its territory through the launch of repair centers. Localized service is one of the priorities of the company development on the Russian market - JD.ru already provides an option of order return within 30 days after receipt without any explanations,"- said N.Chen.
