Farfetch, an online platform that offers customers a range of goods from the world's best boutiques, opens its representative office in Russia.

Moscow Representative Office will be responsible for business development in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries.

From now on, a variety of exclusive clothes and accessories from the most progressive designers and concept stores will be available to customers from these countries. Besides, they will get access to unique features and services of Farfetch, which covers over 300 boutiques worldwide.

Along with the opening of the representative office in Moscow, Farfetch announces the start of investment in business development in Russia. The areas of investments include logistics, marketing, customer service, and support of talented local players. The investment volume is not disclosed.

The decision to open a representative office was taken in the first quarter of 2015. To date, a localized version of the farfetch.com website in Russian has been launched; personal data of Russian citizens have been transferred to the servers located in Russia; a local team of highly skilled professionals has been formed and started its work, Russian-speaking customer service for Russia, CIS and Baltic countries has been organized and launched.

A special department for VIP customers is established to offer them unique services, including personal stylist, as well as the ability to pre-order items from new collections of the world's top designers.
