Electronic Payments are not Popular in Russia

According to the results of the nationwide survey conducted by the National agency of financial research these payment instruments are mostly appreciated by young people (18-24 years old) and by the citizens of both capitals. Russians avoid using e-money more actively due to the complex of factors. They believe that in comparison to bank cards e-wallets are less secure and don’t guarantee the same safety of personal data. 48% of Russians believe that plastic cards are safe and only 15% trust electronic payment systems.
