AliExpress to launch sale of Russian designers’ collection under “Fashion. Made in Russia” project

On November 25, global retail marketplace AliExpress launches sales of collections of Russian designers within the framework of “Fashion. Made in Russia” project of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The sales will be based on the AliExpress Mall platform.
The project will present 65 Russian brands, that is about 1,000 SKUs, including ladies’, men's and children's clothing and footwear, as well as fashion accessories, which become the 11.11 World Shopping Festival winners most popular with Russian consumers. Among the fashion-brands joining the project will be both small manufacturers and well-known Russian designers such as Liza Odinokikh, DIMANEU, Laroom, Igor York, Anna Platie, who participated in the Russian Fashion Weeks and are well-established brands on the Russian market.
At the first stage, “Fashion. Made in Russia” products will be available on AliExpress for ordering in Russia only. At further project stages, the goods are expected to be available to AliExpress’ international audience. In view of the Russian designers’ great interest in the project, the estimated number of project participants will reach 100 by the end of the year.
The strategic partner and integrator of the project is Costmart, a Russian e-commerce company. “We will ensure IT-development of the “Fashion. Made in Russia” project" on AliExpress markeplace. Costmart will also arrange storage of goods in their storage facilities, receiving and processing of orders, packaging and delivery of the goods,” - says Sergey Molchanov, Costmart CEO.
The main logistics partner of the project is company DPD, and Russian Post will help deliver the orders to remote corners of the country.
